Hello everyone. Some of us (P.A team, where are you???) were in the Dock Woods Community news letter. I was not able to make it appear in the forum because I scanned it and now it's a word document. Fortunately this news letter is online! Go to check our picture there, it's one of my favorite. There is also a photo of Odess, the new trainee of the retirement home.

Exchange of IVEP'ers
Go at the bottom of the page.

Nofka, I'm sure all your grand fathers and mothers miss your good cares!

Another one, in Peaceful Living news letter:

Volunteer from South Africa Joins PL Staff:

Nqoba "Ben" Nkosi cornes to us from Nelspruit, South Africa. He will be volunteering as office assistant for Peaceful Living for one year. His primary interests while here are acquiring knowledge in human resources, computer technology, and fellowshipping with the broader Christian church. He lives with Larry and Loretta Moyer of Telford.
In an interview Ben said, "I'm from a beautiful, small little town in South Africa called Nelspruit, situated 50 miles east of Johannesburg. I'm 22 years old and l'm a Christian."
"Last year I completed a course in human resource management and received my certifîcate but I still wanted to learn more. I volunteered at two different organizations that did similar work to PL."
"I was so glad when the Mennonite Central Committee's IVEP (International Visitor's Exchange Program) told me they got my placement at Peaceful Living, where they help make a difference in people's lives. I hope that I'll have a positive experience on these things and be able to implement them when I return to South Africa."
